About
Ginny Fielding is a printmaker and artist from Richmond, Virginia.

After the completion of her BFA from Southern Utah University, Fielding continued her training in collaborative printmaking at Tamarind Institute, completing the rigorous year-long Printer Training Program in 2023-2024. Fielding stayed for a second year in the professional workshop as the Apprentice Printer working under the tutelage of the Tamarind Master Printer in 2024-2025. Here, Fielding gained further collaborative and technical skills in fine art lithography. Her time at Tamarind included printing for Daniel Brice, Fay Ku, Robert Pruitt, Harmony Hammond, and many more.

In Fielding's personal work, she uses humor and play of animal actors to explore the oddities of cultural and familial barriers. Her prints and paintings reflect these observations of unknowable, quaint worlds full of incomprehensible actors.
